Christina Florou is a skilled freelance translator and language coordinator with extensive experience in the media industry. Since March 2016, Christina has been self-employed, specializing in subtitling for TV shows and films from English to Greek, as well as proofreading and editing dub scripts. In addition to freelance work, Christina has been with TVT Media since September 2016, where responsibilities include training freelance subtitlers, monitoring their performance, and overseeing project workflows. The role also encompasses quality control coordination, where Christina recruits and trains quality controllers, manages invoicing, and liaises with clients. Christina holds a Master of Arts in Translation from the University of Surrey and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon.
