John Tobias

John Tobias has over 30 years of work experience in various roles. John started their career in 1989 as an Automotive Technician at Colonial Dodge and then moved to Saturn Of Warren in 1992. In 1996, they joined WPI Micro Processor Systems Inc. as a Technical Support Specialist, where they provided end user support and design engineer support for automotive, trucking, and farm equipment industries.

In 1998, John joined Grosse Pointe Public School System as a Network Engineer, where they worked until 2015. In this role, they managed the network infrastructure and provided support.

Currently, John is working at Tweddle Group since 2015 as a Senior Network Engineer. Their responsibilities include network design, engineering, administration, and firewall management using Cisco ASA.

John Tobias has a diploma in Computer Science from Warren Woods Tower High School, which they obtained from 1982 to 1986. John also holds a diploma in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician from Motech Automotive Education Center, earned between 1986 and 1987. Additionally, John attended Wayne State University from 1990 to 1991, where they studied Computer Programming/Programmer, General, but did not earn a degree.
