Annelies J.

Senior Advisor At The Security Authority at Tweede Kamer der Staten-Generaal

Annelies J. has extensive experience in the field of security and humanitarian work. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at the Security Authority within the House of Representatives of the Netherlands since May 2021, Annelies previously worked at RadarAdvies from January 2019 to May 2021 as a Core Team Member of the Radicalisation Awareness Network, collaborating with the European Commission on social policy. Annelies also interned at PAX for Peace in early 2018, focusing on humanitarian disarmament and environmental conflict resolution. Earlier roles include Media Coordinator for the United Nations Youth at NJR werkgroep VN and Projects & Media Intern at Humanity in Action, contributing to the promotion of human rights and active citizenship. Annelies holds a Master of Arts in International Relations/Conflict Studies and Rights, as well as a degree in Human Geography and Planning from Utrecht University.
