Dat Duong is currently interning at the Texas Alliance on Health Policy, crafting policies centered around mental health, substance abuse, and public health in Texas communities. Dat also co-directs various initiatives aimed at addressing food insecurity at The University of Texas at Austin. As a Freshman Researcher and Peer-Mentor, Dat is engaged in valuable research on genomics and molecular models. Additionally, Dat has gained medical experience as a Medical Assistant at St. David's HealthCare and a Clinical Laboratory Student Intern at UT Southwestern Medical Center. With a focus on Public Health and Pre-Medical Studies, Dat is dedicated to making a positive impact in the healthcare field.
