Amir Moritz is the Co-Founder and Chief Risk Officer at Twelve since August 2022. Previously, Amir served as a Board Member at TeraLight from November 2021 to June 2023. With experience at Israel Ministry of Finance as an Economist in the Budget Department, Amir led budget management and complex reforms in tax expenditure. As the Head of Government Companies at Optimus Investments, Amir co-founded the quant hedge fund and focused on strategies in interest rate and currency asset classes. With a background as the Head of Equity & Options Trading Desk at Barak Capital, Amir managed a significant AUM and led relationships with regulators. Amir is currently a PhD candidate in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from Tel Aviv University.
