Jeon Jisu

Jeon Jisu is a Research Engineer at TwelveLabs since August 2025, with a previous role as a Machine Learning Engineer in the Shopping Search Team at NAVER Corp from May 2018 to August 2025. In the latter position, Jeon Jisu developed large-scale machine learning solutions, leading the creation of state-of-the-art multimodal foundation models that significantly improved measurement metrics. Additionally, Jeon Jisu worked as a Research Engineer in the Music Search Team at NAVER, where a novel audio fingerprinting algorithm was invented, achieving high recall and precision on a large-scale music database. Academically, Jeon Jisu holds master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, along with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.
