Alvin Leung

Alvin Leung is a skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in stack testing and bioprocessing. Currently serving as Manager and Staff Engineer at Twelve since March 2018, Alvin leads a team in operating commercial scale pilot plants and optimizing cell design for multi-cell stacks. Previously, as a Senior Stack Testing Engineer and Operations Manager, Alvin operated prototype units and analyzed data to enhance performance indicators. Earlier roles include Test Engineer, where Alvin managed fuel cell tests and data collection, and Bioprocessing Technician at Genentech, where manufacturing of biotherapeutic medicines was conducted under stringent cGMP protocols. Alvin also interned as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at UC Berkeley, focusing on contamination reduction in testing methodologies. Alvin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University.
