Benjamin Larrousse

Senior Data Scientist at Twenty First Group

Benjamin Larrousse has a strong background in data science and mathematics. Benjamin started their career as a Post-doctoral researcher at Laboratoire des signaux et systèmes (L2S), Supelec in 2015. Benjamin then moved on to work as a Data Scientist at Voodoo, where they focused on churn prediction and user acquisition for mobile apps. In 2017, they joined Ysance as a Senior Data Scientist, where they worked on recurrent neural networks for sequence prediction. Most recently, Benjamin has been working as a Senior Data Scientist at Twenty First Group, where they apply data science techniques to sports intelligence projects. Benjamin has experience with Python, SQL, Scikit-learn, Google adwords, and Facebook ads. Benjamin also has teaching experience as a mathematics teaching assistant at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.

Benjamin Larrousse completed their education starting with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Université Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1, from 2006 to 2009. Benjamin then pursued a Master's degree in Science and Technology, specializing in Mathematics and Applications, at Pierre and Marie Curie University from 2009 to 2010. Following this, they obtained a Master's degree in Applied Mathematics from the same university in the following year. Benjamin also earned a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 2011 and 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Benjamin Larrousse has obtained various certifications to enhance their knowledge and skills. These certifications include "Introduction to Football Analytics" from StatsBomb in April 2020, "Deep learning with Tensorflow" from Big Data University in March 2017, "Data Science Methodology" from Big Data University in January 2017, "Machine Learning" from Coursera in April 2015, "DQ 101: Introduction to Decision Quality" from NovoEd in March 2015, and "Game Theory II: Advanced Applications, with distinction" from Coursera in February 2015.
