UX Designer at Twenty Ideas

Kristina Bakke has a diverse range of work experience in various creative roles. Kristina started their career as a Freelance Artist, creating pen and ink illustrations for a biographical book. Kristina then worked as an Artist at Kabam, where they digitally painted concept art and in-game assets for multiple games. Kristina also served as an Art Intern, creating various assets for the game "Glory of Rome."

Following their time at Kabam, Kristina worked as a Creative Producer at Race Face Performance Products, producing a mountain biking short film that combined live-action video and 2D animation. Kristina wrote and directed the film and illustrated all the backgrounds.

Kristina then took on the role of Marketing Graphic Designer and Comic Artist at Santa Cruz Mountains Trail Stewardship, where they designed posters, banners, and web assets for fundraisers and campaigns. Kristina also adapted campaign posters into a wall banner displayed at Santa Cruz Bikes HQ.

Next, they worked as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer at Send It Board Games LLC, creating art assets for a board game series and conducting testing to improve the prototype. Kristina also worked as an Illustrator at Shimano North America Holding, Inc., where they created brand illustrations for informational materials and designed illustrations for a bike guide.

Kristina then served as a Product Designer at Benten Technologies, Inc., contributing to the development of a high-fidelity prototype through brainstorm sessions and research. Kristina also crafted user flows and storyboards.

At BreakingT, Kristina worked as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer, creating vector graphics highlighting sports events and trends. Kristina illustrated artwork and typography using specific color palettes and team guidelines.

Kristina later worked as a Freelance Designer and Illustrator at Sketchy Trails, where they organized brainstorm meetings with stakeholders and translated their visions into successful products through sketching and design changes.

Most recently, Kristina joined Twenty Ideas as a UX Designer. Kristina collaborates with a small team to develop mobile experiences and utilizes various techniques such as user interviews, card sorting, and iterative wireframing. Kristina focuses on gathering quantitative and qualitative data to inform user flows.

Kristina Bakke attended San Jose State University from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Animation/Illustration. In 2021, they enrolled at Springboard and will complete their studies in 2022, achieving a Certificate in UI/UX Design Career Track.
