Allen Dauterman

Allen Dauterman joined TWG development in 2020 as a Development Director focused on affordable housing development efforts in WA and OR. Allen lives in and works in Newcastle WA. Allen brings over 30 years of Planning and Architectural experience with a focus on large mixed use and large tormat retail projects across North America, and with the recent five years focused on multifamily affordable housing projects in the Seattle area. Prior to joining TWG, Allen served as a real estate developer for Imagine Housing, a non-profit developer, owner, and services provider working in Washington's greater Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland area. During Allen's four years at Imagine Housing he worked with the development team to bring over 500 new units using highly competitive 4% and 9% low income housing tax credit financing in a high-income, high-cost region. Allen graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1985. Allen has been very active in his community having served as a Planning Commissioner, City Council Member and Mayor of Newcastle, and continues advocating for affordable housing policies at Municipal, County and State levels.
