Rikard Karlander

Rikard Karlander has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Rikard currently serves as the CEO of Twigeo, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, they were the Head of Analytics at Twigeo starting in July 2017. Rikard also worked as an Analyst at Twigeo from July 2015.

Before joining Twigeo, Rikard completed their Master's thesis at Elekta Instrument AB from February 2015 to June 2015. The thesis focused on optimizing and developing models for continuous path stereotactic radiosurgery using the Leksell Gamma Knife.

In 2014, Rikard gained experience as a Summer Intern at Spotify, where they contributed to the Business Development department. Their tasks included programming a web tool and implementing internal methods for scalability.

Rikard also worked as a Delegate at the Turk Arab Youth Congress in 2014.

From May 2012 to August 2013, Rikard served as a Risk Analyst at RPM Risk & Portfolio Management AB.

Rikard began their career as a Salesman at Coop in May 2007 and continued in this role until September 2012.

In addition to their professional experience, Rikard has taken on leadership roles. Rikard served as a Team Leader for Events at Armada from April 2011 to November 2011 and as Chairman of the International Students Union from March 2010 to March 2011.

Rikard also has experience in education as a Supply Teacher at VRE Education from September 2008 to March 2009.

Their early career included working as a Football Manager at FC Café Opera Djursholm from March 2004 to January 2008, and as a Football Referee from September 2003 to May 2007.

Rikard Karlander received their education in Industrial Engineering and Management, specializing in Optimization and systems theory, from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Rikard pursued this degree from 2009 to 2014. In addition to their degree, Rikard obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMasterTM (CSMTM) from Scrum AllianceTM in March 2019.
