Karim Sabry

Karim Sabry is an accomplished professional in ethics, compliance, and operational excellence, currently serving as Manager of Ethics and Compliance at Twilio since August 2025. Prior to this role, Karim held the position of Operational Excellence Specialist at TC Energy, where responsibilities included transforming Operational Management Systems for corporate compliance. Karim also served as Vice Chair of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Committee for the Standards Council of Canada, and as Compliance Management Systems Lead for the JGC Fluor BC LNG Joint Venture, managing compliance for Canada's largest LNG infrastructure project. Previous experience includes managerial roles at bp, where responsibilities encompassed regulatory compliance, audit coordination, and the development of global compliance frameworks. Karim's early career involved consulting on environment and regulatory compliance at Imperial Oil, and various government and advocacy roles prior. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Imperial College London and a diploma from the Imperial College, along with executive education from MIT Sloan and Harvard Business School.
