Vinod Kone

Vinod Kone is a distinguished engineer with extensive experience in software development and distributed systems. At Twilio, Vinod serves as the Senior Director of Engineering, leading the Platform Services group and overseeing the development of core services for the real-time Customer Data Platform. With a significant role at The Apache Software Foundation as a Committer and PMC member for Apache Mesos, Vinod has driven strategic initiatives and contributed to cloud resource management solutions utilized by major companies. Prior experience includes roles at D2iQ, Twitter, and various research internships, complemented by a PhD in Computer Science from UC Santa Barbara and a BTech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
