TPT - Twin Cities PBS
Luke Heikkila is a seasoned production manager and producer with extensive experience in television production at TPT - Twin Cities PBS since June 2004, where collaboration with non-profit organizations and TPT staff has led to the creation of programs for the Minnesota Channel. Notable projects include two documentaries produced while embedded with the National Guard, focusing on agricultural development in Afghanistan and the effects of deployment on soldiers and their families. Prior to TPT, Luke served as an associate producer at Media Rare, contributing to The Environmental Journal, and previously worked at Twin Cities Public Television on a nightly news program. Luke holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication from the University of Minnesota Morris and is a graduate of Stillwater Area High School.
