Slade Kemmet is a seasoned Photographer and Filmmaker, currently leading Slade Kemmet Media since 2014, focusing on visual storytelling for organizations dedicated to positive global impact. As the Director of Photography at TPT - Twin Cities PBS, Slade creates engaging documentary projects on arts, culture, and history. Experience as a National Geographic Explorer involved producing a short documentary film about wolves in Isle Royale National Park. Previous roles include Marketing Director at EOS International, where Slade executed impactful media campaigns for safe drinking water initiatives in Central America, and Marketing Manager at Library Strategies Consulting Group, where strategic marketing efforts contributed to successful events and programs. Slade's career began with positions in promotions and production, including at KWQC TV-6 News and The Daily Iowan, supported by a dual BA in Journalism and Film Production from the University of Iowa.
