Sylvia Strobel

Sylvia Strobel holds the position of President & Chief Executive Officer at TPT - Twin Cities PBS since February 2020, where responsibilities include overseeing the production of various educational programming such as SciGirls and Hero Elementary for PBS Kids. Prior to this role, Sylvia served as Chief Operating Officer at ideastream from 2018 to 2020, managing operations for multiple broadcasting channels. Experience also includes serving as Senior Vice President & General Counsel at American Public Media Group from 2014 to 2017, and Vice President at The Coulter Companies from 2011 to 2014. Sylvia co-founded Lehmann Strobel PLC, where roles included Partner, and previously held positions such as President & General Manager at Pennsylvania Public TV Network and Deputy Counsel at Twin Cities Public Television. Educational qualifications include a BA in Biology from St. Olaf College, a JD from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and an MBA in Strategy and Marketing from the University of Minnesota.
