Sean Hulsman has a diverse work experience. Sean started their career as a Paramedic at the Town of Tonawanda Police Department in July 2002 and worked there until August 2007. After that, they transitioned into the education field and worked as a Science Teacher at the Niagara Wheatfield Central School District from September 2007 to June 2012. Since July 2012, Sean has been working at Twin City Ambulance as the Director of Education. In this role, they are responsible for developing and facilitating pre-hire testing and new hire orientation and training programs, managing education internships, and overseeing a team of field training officers.

Sean Hulsman completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from the University at Buffalo in 2005. Sean further pursued their education at the University at Buffalo Graduate School, where they obtained a Master of Education degree in Science Education in 2007.

Prior to their university studies, Sean Hulsman attended Erie Community College and earned an Associate's degree or certificate in NYS Paramedic in 1996.

In addition to their academic achievements, Sean Hulsman has obtained various certifications. Sean became an AHA Instructor in ACLS, PALS, and BLS in July 2013. Furthermore, they obtained the NYS Science Teacher 5-12 certification in July 2007. Finally, Sean Hulsman is a NYS Certified EMS Instructor/Coordinator, certified by the New York State Department of Health, although the specific year and institution for this certification are not provided.
