Kirkland Garey

Kirkland Garey's work experience includes serving as the CEO of Twin City Hose, LLC. since 2017. Kirkland also worked as the CEO of K.L. McCoy & Associates from 2017 to 2021. Prior to that, they were the Treasurer of the Grosse Pointe Democratic Club from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, Kirkland was a candidate for the Michigan House of Representatives. Kirkland also served as the Recording Secretary of the 14th Congressional District Democratic Organization from 2013 to 2017. Kirkland's earlier roles include being a Neighborhood Team Leader for OFA from 2008 to 2013, an Attorney at Norman Yatooma & Associates, PC from 2010 to 2012, Of Counsel at Bunting, Drayton & Alward, LLP from 2008 to 2010, Of Counsel at Quinn Emanuel from 2004 to 2007, and a Shareholder at Howard & Howard from 1997 to 2004.

Kirkland Garey earned a JD degree in Law from Wayne State University Law School from 1979 to 1982. Prior to that, they obtained an AB degree in Political Science from the University of Chicago between 1976 and 1979. Their earlier education includes a high school diploma from Grosse Pointe South, achieved between 1971 and 1975.
