Matthew Johnson

Matthew started as a network team intern in June 2019. He spent the summer months on the Operations Support Team. When school started, he joined the support team at Central DeWitt Schools, preparing teacher and student technology for the new school year. Matthew earned his Associates of Applied Science majoring Network Administration at Morrison (IL) Institute of Technology (Morrison, IL) and a double major in Network Administration and Cybersecurity from St. Ambrose University (Davenport, IA), in May 2020. He plans to continue at St. Ambrose to earn his Master's in Information Technology Management.

Printer issues? Matthew’s first step into the professional tech world was working at Cartridge World USA where he often worked on various printers and devices in the past. His educational background is in network addressing/subnetting, PC hardware/installation, Linux OS, JavaScript, HTML, Microsoft products, and command line tools. He enjoys technology because there’s always something new to learn.

In his free time, Matthew enjoys drumming, weightlifting, classic rock, and crime-related shows. He earned his Eagle Scout rank in 2015 as part of Troop 305.
