Sergio Gómez

Sergio Gómez has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. In 2008, they started as a Software Developer at Imaweb, where they worked on web applications for automotive brands. Sergio then moved on to Amaris Evolution in the same role, focusing on software development until 2011.

In 2011, Sergio joined Buongiorno as a Software Architect and later became an Engineering Manager. Sergio'sresponsibilities included leading a team and implementing changes to improve application performance and monitor the ecosystem. Sergio worked there until 2014.

From 2015 to 2019, Sergio worked at DOCOMO Digital, first as an Engineering Manager, where they built a new product for managing the company's digital marketing business. Sergio then became a Senior Engineering Manager, leading innovation teams and developing products based on artificial intelligence.

In 2020, Sergio worked as a Freelance Cloud Engineer, specializing in AWS and Google Cloud services and developing microservices solutions running on Kubernetes. Sergio also used technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and MySQL.

Currently, Sergio is the CTO and Co-Founder of Twinny, a position they started in 2021.

Sergio Gómez completed their Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from 2001 to 2007. In addition to their formal education, Sergio has obtained several certifications. Sergio became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2020. Prior to that, in 2017, they obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner certification from Agile Scrum Alliance™, and in 2015, they became a Certified ScrumMaster, also from Agile Scrum Alliance™.
