Camila Zanette

Camila Zanette's work experience begins in 2008 as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the Universidade Estadual de Maringá. In 2010, they worked as a Trainee at IPEN and in 2011, they had a role as a Professor at Sequencial Escola Técnica. From 2011-2013, they pursued their Graduate Student Researcher role at Universidade de São Paulo, where they also served as a Teaching Assistant during a certain period. Zanette then joined UC Irvine in 2013 as a Graduate Student Researcher in their Ph.D. Program in Pharmacological Science, specializing in Computational Chemistry. In 2019, they transitioned to Agendia and held the positions of Bioinformatician I and later Bioinformatics Scientist II. Their responsibilities there included data analysis in molecular diagnostics using R and Python scripts, monitoring the Quality Control model for NGS diagnostic data, and providing commercial support to external parties. Most recently, Zanette has been working at TwinStrand Biosciences, starting as a Bioinformatics Scientist and currently holding the position of Bioinformatics Scientist II. Their tasks involve improving and testing genomic pipelines and internal tools, leading connections with external partners, and leading client NGS sequencing data analysis and troubleshooting.

Camila Zanette has a comprehensive education history in the field of pharmacology and pharmaceutical sciences. Starting in 2006, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Pharmacist from the Universidade Estadual de Maringá. This provided their with a strong foundation in the field.

To further their education, Camila pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Pharmacy and Radiopharmacy from USP - Universidade de São Paulo. Camila attended this program from 2011 to 2013 and deepened their knowledge in these specialized areas.

Camila embarked on this doctoral program in 2013 and successfully completed it in 2019.
