Ananth S. Bommakanti, PhD

Ananth S. Bommakanti, PhD, currently serves as Manager and Senior Field Application Scientist at Twist Bioscience since February 2019. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Fellow at Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory, focusing on small RNA biogenesis in Drosophila melanogaster and predictive modeling for Alzheimer's disease, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University School of Medicine and the National Institutes of Health, working on therapeutic aptamers and nucleolar function, respectively. Ananth completed a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County, complemented by advanced studies in Business Administration, Data Analytics, and Biological Sciences from various institutions. Prior experience also includes research at ICRISAT and Unichem Laboratories Limited, emphasizing both scientific research and training.
