David Pescetti

David Pescetti is an experienced automation engineer currently serving as Manager of Automation Engineering at Twist Bioscience since September 2019, having previously worked as an Automation Engineer at the same company. Prior to that, David held the position of System Engineer II at Siemens Healthineers from May 2018 to June 2019, where responsibilities included programming new workflows for VERSANT kPCR and integrating new acquisitions into the Molecular Diagnostics platforms. Earlier experience at CareDx, Inc. spanned from March 2012 to April 2018, where David was the lead programmer for clinical sequencing laboratories and focused on compliance with FDA and CLIA regulations. David began a career in biomedical engineering as a graduate student at California Polytechnic State University, earning a Master's in Biomedical Engineering in 2011 and a Bachelor of Science in 2008. Prior research roles include contributions to genomic integration and genotyping for significant health studies.
