Lucy Chian

Lucy Chian is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in bioinformatics and software development, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Twist Bioscience since August 2017. Previous roles include serving as President of Women in Computing from 2016 to 2017, where Lucy held various leadership positions, and gaining valuable internship experience at Sandia National Laboratories and Cisco. During internships, contributions included designing databases for retrosynthesis and developing applications for service dependency mapping. Lucy holds a Bachelor’s degree from UC San Diego and has engaged in undergraduate research in bioinformatics and wet lab environments.
