Ryan Chong

Ryan Chong, Ph.D., is the Director of Business Development for Biopharma at Twist Bioscience, where they focus on supporting customers in transformative fields such as medicine and agriculture. Previously, Ryan held various positions at Abcam, including Commercial Director APAC, where they led channel management and strategic partnerships across Asia Pacific and Japan. Ryan's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Microbiology from Yale University and experience as a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at Genentech, Roche, where they researched MRSA pathogenesis. They began their educational journey with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from The University of Texas at Austin.
