Sarthak Sharma

Sarthak Sharma is a Senior Bioinformatics Engineer at Twist Bioscience since April 2022, previously holding positions as a Bioinformatics Engineer at the same company. Prior experience includes serving as a Process Development Scientist in Bioinformatics at Genentech from March 2021 to April 2022, and as a Bioinformatics Supervisor and Production Engineer at Natera from February 2019 to February 2021. Sarthak began a graduate research assistantship at Georgia Institute of Technology from August 2017 to December 2018, focusing on software development and single-cell transcriptome profiling, with notable publications in peer-reviewed journals. Earlier roles include undergraduate research at the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, as well as internships at the National Centre for Biological Sciences. Sarthak holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati.
