Ben Rau

Ben Rau has diverse work experience in the technology field. Ben is currently serving as the Technical Director & Solutions Architect at Twisthink since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Amway for over a decade in various roles. From 2017 to 2021, they held the Lead Solution Architect & Portfolio Architect - CRM position, where they led solutions architecture and design and delivery for product teams in the Global CRM solution space. Ben also served as a mentor and technical leader for delivery team members. In addition, they took on the role of Portfolio Architect in March 2020, overseeing seven teams in the CRM portfolio. Before that, Ben worked as a Sr. IT Systems Analyst - R&D, managing customer relationships, collaborating with business partners, and leading design and delivery of integrations. Ben also worked as an IT Systems Analyst - Logistics & Distribution, where they contributed to key projects such as system upgrades and implementations. Ben's earlier experience includes working as an Associate Software Developer II - ERP Application Support at Amway and as a Customer & Technical Support at Color Incorporated Digital Pro Lab.

Ben Rau attended Grand Valley State University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems with a minor in General Business. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In August 2019, they became an AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, and in March 2021, they achieved the higher-level certification of AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional. Most recently, in March 2022, Ben obtained the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification.
