Billy Neuson has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Billy began their career at Best Buy as a Cashier in 2009 and later transitioned to the National Speech & Debate Association as a Video Producer from 2010 to 2011. Billy then joined Grand Valley State University, where they worked as an Information Technology Student Technician from 2011 to 2016, and also served as a Resident Assistant from 2013 to 2015. In 2018, they became an Adjunct Instructor at Grand Valley State University, a position they held until 2020.
During this time, Billy also worked at Twisthink as a Software Engineer, starting in 2016. Billy later advanced to the role of Senior Software Engineer, where they designed, implemented, and tested software for various clients, including embedded microcontrollers, industrial PCs, connected consumer products, and manufacturing line process controllers. In 2021, they further progressed at Twisthink as the Senior Software Engineer & Cloud Lead, a position they currently hold.

Moreover, they obtained an Amateur Radio Operator License from the Federal Communications Commission in May 2014.
