Kurt Dykema

Kurt Dykema has extensive work experience in the technology and engineering fields. Kurt began their career at Johnson Controls as a Design Engineer, where they were responsible for designing and launching the HomeLink Trainable Garage Door Opener. During their 10-year tenure, they worked on various aspects of product development, including radio frequencies, government certifications, prototyping, and performance testing. Kurt also led multiple projects and conducted research on new materials and methods.

After their time at Johnson Controls, Dykema joined Twisthink, a business development and product strategy firm. Kurt started as the Director of Technology and later became the Chief Technology Officer. At Twisthink, Dykema played a crucial role in driving strategic innovation and creating new value for clients. The company's unique approach involves combining design, technology, and strategy to deliver innovative solutions. Kurt'scurrent role as CTO allows him to contribute their expertise and leadership to the firm.

Kurt Dykema's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSE) from Calvin University, which they received between 1984 and 1988. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) specializing in Control Systems and Optics at the University of Michigan from 1988 to 1989. In terms of additional certifications, Kurt obtained certification in "Cloud Architecture: Advanced Concepts" from LinkedIn in January 2018.
