Mary K. Fons is an accomplished content creator and educator with extensive experience in the quilting and writing industries. Currently serving as an Affiliate Creator and Host for Twitch's 'Quilt Nerd' live broadcast since August 2021, Fons also authors a bi-monthly column, "The Quilt Scout," at Quilts.com. Fons previously held key editorial roles, including Editor In Chief and Editorial Director at Quiltfolk Magazine, and has managed content across various platforms as a writer, blogger, and showrunner. With a Master’s Degree in Writing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor of Arts in Theater from the University of Iowa, Fons blends a deep love of American quilts with professional expertise in media production and education.
