Cloe Jakel is currently a Junior Product Designer at Two Bulls. Prior to this, they worked as a Sole trader at Happy Catty Cat Sitting from March 2018 to August 2021. In this role, they were responsible for charting the creation, development, and administration of website content and booking system through utilisation of WordPress. Cloe also oversaw the processing and administration of accounts across their operations. Furthermore, they spearhead all aspects of the creation and development of marketing and advertising materials to acquire new business. In addition, they provided exceptional care to Melbourne’s finest felines and communicated with their owners on a frequent basis.
Before their work at Happy Catty Cat Sitting, Jakel worked as a Graduate Research Officer - Faculty of Engineering & IT at the University of Melbourne from September 2011 to September 2021. In this role, they carried out the effective administration of candidature for ~700 PhD students over the course of their operations. Additionally, they provided high-quality advice and support, operational efficiency, policy compliance, and professional service delivery. Jakel also played a key role by providing extensive academic support and coordinating high-level working group committee meetings. Furthermore, they streamlined the admissions processes for Graduate Research degrees and the development of new systems and procedures. During their time at the University of Melbourne, Jakel demonstrated deep knowledge regarding the University’s academic and administrative policies and procedures required to ensure that key responsibilities are executed and key processes were followed. Additionally, they leveraged their expertise to provide mentoring to a Graduate Research Intern in 2020 to allow them to succeed. Moreover, Jakel conducted the evaluation, analysis, and presentation of complex data and information for stakeholders to ensure success. In addition, they executed the effective processing of student enrolments, as well as organised and facilitated induction sessions for new students. Lastly, Jakel lead the creation and administration of content for FEIT current students webpage through employment of expertise.
Cloe Jakel has a postgraduate diploma in science from the University of Melbourne, a bachelor's degree in applied sciences from RMIT University, and various certifications in UX design, usability testing, and web writing. Cloe is also a Certified ScrumMaster.
They are on a team with Nicholas Rivas - Product Designer, Tobias Heeringa - Junior Product Designer, and Fernando Tan - Senior Product Designer. Cloe Jakel reports to Andrew Chin, Design Director.
