Claire Somerset

Claire Somerset is an experienced professional in commercial sales and business development within the sports and consulting industries. Currently serving as the Commercial Sales Lead at UEFA since July 2024, Claire is responsible for acquiring UEFA's inaugural refereeing partner. Previously, Claire held various roles at Two Circles since February 2021, including Business Development Lead and Sales Manager in Rights Management. Additionally, from June 2022 to June 2024, Claire acted as Commercial Sales Lead at New Zealand Rugby, where significant partnerships were established with global entities. Prior to that, Claire was a Management Consultant at Accenture, focusing on enhancing sales capabilities for global pharmaceutical companies. Claire holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography from Durham University, completed between 2013 and 2016, and an International Baccalaureate from Sevenoaks School, where Claire achieved 43 points.
