Nathan Benz

Nathan Benz has an extensive work experience starting in 2007 when they co-founded and served as Treasurer for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Club at the University of Minnesota. In 2010, they became a Post-Closing & Servicing Auditor at TenA Companies, Inc., where they conducted mortgage quality control audits and analyzed loan exceptions. Nathan then joined Wells Fargo Home Mortgage in 2011 as a Research & Remediation Analyst, where they researched and resolved repurchase demands for residential mortgage-backed securities. In 2014, they transitioned to Two Harbors Investment Corp., initially as a Senior Associate and progressively moving up to Assistant Vice President and Vice President roles. Nathan held various responsibilities including transaction management, servicing relationship management, and counterparty oversight. In 2015, they also took on the role of Equity Research Analyst/Portfolio Manager at the Aristotle Fund, managing an equity portfolio for the University of St. Thomas Endowment. Overall, Nathan Benz has gained expertise in investment management, mortgage quality control, and risk analysis throughout their career.

Nathan Benz completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance and Financial Management Services from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business in 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota in 2010.
