Cynthia Shou

Cynthia Shou is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and leadership. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at Two Sigma since 2021, Cynthia previously held roles at Uber as a Senior Software Engineer from 2016 to 2020, contributing to the Uber Data Infra and Marketplace teams. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer position at LinkedIn in 2015, where backend engineering was focused on the Growth and China teams, and an internship at Facebook in 2014 as a Performance and Capacity Engineer Intern. Cynthia began their career with a Research Internship at Microsoft Research Asia in 2012. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
