Annukka Sakkinen has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Annukka has served as a Content and Competence Lead at twoday Finland since 2022 and previously held the same position at Visma from 2021 to 2022.

From 2016 to 2021, Annukka worked at Etteplan, where they held the positions of Team Leader and Customer Consultant. As a Project Manager, they managed documentation projects and the well-being of technical writers. As a Technical Writer, they created and maintained various types of content and advised customers on language and documentation tool issues.

Annukka also worked at Arena Interactive, Cygnaeus-lukio, and Valmet (then Metso Paper) in various roles, such as an International Business Coordinator, German Teacher, and Onsite Coordinator and Language Consultant.

Annukka began their education in 1992 at Kilpisen koulu in Jyväskylä, Finland, where they obtained a Matriculation with the highest honors. The subjects included in their Matriculation Examination were Finnish, English, German, Swedish, Mathematics, and Psychology.

In 1993, they attended Liebigschule in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, where they took intensive courses in English and German, known as Leistungskurse.

From 1995 to 2002, Annukka studied at the University of Jyväskylä, where they earned a Master of Arts degree with the highest honors. Their major was in German, and they also studied English, Psychology, Education, Journalism, and Irish History, Politics, and Culture.

In 2005 to 2006, they took basic studies in Computer Science at the University of Helsinki. Furthermore, from 2008 to 2009, they pursued intermediate studies in Communication at the University of Helsinki, and in 2012 to 2013, they completed basic studies in Management at the University of Lapland.
