Kreeta Ceesay has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Kreeta began their career in 1997, working in various roles for companies such as Stockmann Oyj, Bauhaus Co Ky, Decorama Oy, Rautakirja Oyj, and Zil Oy. From 2008 to 2012, Kreeta served as an entrepreneur and freelance designer for Cretec Oy, handling tasks such as quotations, orders, and invoices. Kreeta then worked as a research assistant at Aalto University's Living Places department, contributing to the inPractice research project and completing their Master's Thesis on everyday food consumption practices.
In 2011, Kreeta interned as an interior designer at Marimekko Oyj. Kreeta also volunteered at the Children's Eternal Rainforest in 2013. From 2014 to 2023, Kreeta worked at Naveo Commerce (formerly Digital Goodie), initially serving as a content team leader and marketing assistant. In this role, they oversaw the content team's work, managed product and content information, handled support queries, and organized product image photoshoots. Later, they transitioned to a role as a UX/UI designer, working on e-commerce projects for major European retailers and contributing to the product design team by conducting user research and designing user experiences, interactions, and visuals.
Currently, Kreeta is employed as a UX designer at twoday Finland, starting in 2023.
Kreeta Ceesay attended Aalto University School of Art, Design and Architecture from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design. Kreeta furthered their education at the same institution from 2009 to 2012, earning a Master's degree in Industrial and Strategic Design.
In addition to their academic qualifications, Kreeta Ceesay has acquired several certifications. In December 2021, they completed the "Interaction Design: Dashboards and Visualization" course at LinkedIn. Kreeta also obtained the "Interaction Design: Interface" certification from LinkedIn in the same month. Furthermore, in May 2023, they obtained a Professional Certificate in UI Design from the UX Design Institute.
