Piia Luodes has a diverse range of work experience. Piia started their career as a Photographer at the Alvar Aalto Foundation/Alvar Aalto Museum in 2012 and later worked as a Photographer at Keskisuomalainen for a brief period. In 2013, Piia worked as a Children's Activity Instructor at Kansallinen Lastenliitto Ry. Piia then transitioned into the field of graphic design and worked as a Graphic Designer at Fulmore from 2018 to 2019. Piia also gained experience as a Project Assistant at Spoken Oy, where they worked on client projects related to text processing. Piia later became a UX Designer at Solidabis Oy from March 2022 to January 2023. Piia also freelanced as a UX Designer/Graphic Designer, designing user interfaces, logos, and brand identities according to client needs. Currently, Piia is working as a UX Designer at twoday Finland. Piia is involved in transforming an existing mobile app into a full desktop version with a new brand identity. Piia has proven skills in Finnish language, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with both specific guidelines and creative freedom.
Piia Luodes completed their Master's Degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Jyväskylä from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from JAMK University of Applied Sciences from 2015 to 2018. Piia also attended Jyväskylä College from 2010 to 2012, where they pursued a Vocational School degree in Visual Expression, Visual Artisan, obtaining a vocational qualification in that field.
