Sini Makkonen

Sini Makkonen has worked as a Software Designer at twoday Finland since October 2022. Prior to that, they held the same role at Visma Finland from January 2019 to October 2022. Sini also served as a Software Designer at OCTO3 Oy from November 2017 to December 2018. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Mediaoperaattori at Seasam Oy from May 2013 to September 2014.

Sini Makkonen completed a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Computer Science and Content Provider from Mikkelin ammattikorkeakoulu from 2012 to 2015. In 2017, they also completed a computer science course called E-Koodi-ohjelmointikurssi at Saimaan ammattikorkeakoulu.

In addition to their formal education, Sini has obtained various certifications. In 2019, they became a UX Designer by completing a course called "Become UX Designer from scratch" from The Interaction Design Foundation. Sini also has certifications from Udemy, including "Build an app with React, Redux and Firestore from scratch" obtained in March 2021, "Node.js: The Complete Guide to Build RESTful APIs" obtained in February 2023, "Next.js and Apollo - Portfolio App" obtained in February 2023, "React Native - The Practical Guide" obtained in March 2023, and "AWS & Typescript Masterclass - CDK V2, Serverless, React" obtained in June 2023.
