James Grotke

Applications Engineer at TX RX Systems

James Grotke has worked in the engineering field for over 40 years. James began their career as an Electronic Technician at Greatbatch in 1979. James was promoted to Electronic Technician IV in the same company, where they designed electronic controls and developed documentation for fabrication by outside sources. In 2005, James moved to Fisher-Price as a Project Engineer, Electronics - Vehicles/Preschool, where they designed and developed wiring harness and drive train circuits for Power Wheels Vehicles. James also collaborated with the team to develop safety, operating and assembly instructions. In 2014, James joined Roberts Gordon as an Electrical Engineer, where they designed new and custom wire harnesses and controls. James also provided technical support to vendors and contractors regarding product installation, troubleshooting, and repair. In 2015, James joined Specified Air Solutions - Roberts Gordon as a Strategic Supply Chain Engineer, where they provided technical support to Strategic Supply Chain Managers to assist efforts in supplier consolidation for cost reductions. James also characterized and categorized component specifications for all business units to provide to component suppliers the information necessary for quoting. In 2017, James worked at Open as they sought new opportunities. James then joined PRO Unlimited at Fisher-Price as an Electro Mechanical Engineer in the same year. Finally, in 2018, James joined both TX RX Systems, Inc. and Bird Technologies as an Applications Engineer.

James Grotke graduated from Buffalo State College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Electronics Technology (BET) degree in Electronics.
