Mark Martinez

Mark Martinez currently serves as the Distribution Energy Engineering Manager at PNM Resources, leading a team in the Transmission and Distribution Planning Department and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations related to renewable energy. Prior to this role, Mark retired as a Senior Engineering Manager from Intel Corporation, where responsibilities included managing various engineering teams and projects related to semiconductor manufacturing processes. Mark’s extensive experience also includes a tenure as a Command Staff Operations Officer with the New Mexico Army National Guard, where operational planning and resource management were key responsibilities. Additionally, Mark held the position of Senior Satellite Systems Engineer at General Dynamics, overseeing satellite programs from conception to launch. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from New Mexico State University and a Master of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security from the University of Phoenix, along with various military education certifications.
