Matthew Jaramillo

Matthew Jaramillo possesses extensive experience in government affairs, currently serving at PNM Resources since 2012, where responsibilities include developing strategies to enhance customer experiences and facilitating relationships with community organizations and government officials. Previously, at the New Mexico Finance Authority from 2009 to 2012 as Director of Government Affairs, Matthew managed projects and fostered collaborations to create financing programs and business development initiatives. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2009, as a Wealth Management Advisor at Smith Barney, efforts led to the addition of approximately $20 million in new assets through client cultivation and improved management systems. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Corporate Finance from UNM Anderson School of Management and a B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University.
