Scott Hudson

Scott Hudson is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the energy and financial services sectors. Currently serving as the President of Vistra Retail and President of TXU Energy since March 2011, Scott Hudson has led TXU Energy in providing electricity and related services to approximately 2 million customers in Texas. Prior to this, Scott Hudson held various leadership roles at LexisNexis, managing significant divisions in background screening and database marketing, and at MBNA, overseeing loan portfolios and business development. Scott Hudson's career began in legal practice at Troutman Sanders LLP, specializing in corporate and regulatory matters for electric utilities. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in History from Yale University and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
