Michael Bolen

Michael Bolen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Michael started their career in 1989 as a Project Manager at Mycro-Tek, where they led a team of engineers and was responsible for designing an entry-level Macintosh graphics and painting application. In 1991, they joined Deneba Software as a Senior Software Engineer, where they played a key role in porting a video editing system to the Power Macintosh and Windows NT platforms. Michael also implemented various features such as Dongle Security work and support for external timecode. Michael then moved to Avid Technology, Inc in 1995, where they continued their work as a Senior Software Engineer, focusing on digital non-linear video editing clients on both Macintosh and Windows NT platforms. Michael contributed to the initial port of the video editing system and developed features such as serial digital top card support and import/export of AVI files. In 1998, they joined WSI as a Senior Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented GIS display systems for ShowFX and True View Interactive media products. Michael'sresponsibilities included terrain following vectors, user-definable graphical attributes, and multithreaded data handling. Finally, Michael joined TYBRIN Corporation in 2006, starting as a Senior Software Engineer and later transitioning to the Integration Project Team Lead.
