Mathew Lavelle has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Mathew began their career in 1998 as a Satellite Network Coordinator with the US Army. Mathew then moved to ITT Corporation in 2004 where they held the roles of System Implementation Specialist 1, Project Lead, and System Implementation Specialist 2. In 2007, they were hired by Computer Sciences Corporation as a Network Defender and Enterprise Controller. In 2010, they joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Senior Network Administrator (HBSS/Endpoint Security). That same year, they were hired by McNeil Technologies as a Network Defender and Enterprise Controller. In 2011, they were hired by BAE Systems as a Lead Cyber Engineer. Finally, in 2017, they joined Tychon as a Senior Technical Integration Manager.
Mathew Lavelle obtained their High School Diploma from West Fargo High School between 1991 and 1995. Mathew then attended Capella University from 2008 to 2010, where they received a BS in Information Technology / Information Assurance and Security. Mathew then attended University of Phoenix from 2013 to 2015, where they received a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology. Finally, they attended University of Maryland Global Campus from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Digital Forensics and Cyber Investigations. Mathew also holds certifications from CompTIA (A+ and Security+), (ISC)2 (CISSP), and APM Group (ITIL v3 Foundations).
