Ferrier Stillman serves as a Partner in the Family Law and Health Law Departments at Tydings & Rosenberg LLP, a position held since 1996. In family law, Ferrier Stillman specializes in complex divorce litigation, negotiation of marital agreements, guardianship representation, and both foreign and domestic adoptions. In health law, Ferrier Stillman represents nursing homes and related facilities in regulatory matters, including licensing and defense against regulatory deficiencies. Prior to this role, Ferrier Stillman was the Assistant Secretary for Business and Regulatory Services at the Maryland Department of Health & Mental Hygiene from 1995 to 1996, overseeing the licensing and regulation of health care facilities. Earlier career experience includes working as an Associate at Semmes, Bowen & Semmes from 1987 to 1995. Ferrier Stillman earned a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a B.A. in History from Vassar College.
