Sean Sandys

Sean Sandys has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. In 1994, they began their career as a Research Intern at IBM T. J. Watson Research Center. Sean then moved on to Safeware Engineering Corporation in 1997, where they were a Member of Technical Staff. In 2003, they joined Microsoft as a Program Manager. In 2007, they became a Software Engineer at batiq.com, and in 2008 they became a Partner at Tyemill.

Sean Sandys completed their high school education at Stuyvesant H.S. in 1990. Sean then attended Williams College, graduating in 1994 with a BA in Computer Science and Astrophyics. Following this, they continued their education at the University of Washington, obtaining a PhD in Computer Science in 2002.
