Ubong Nehemiah

Ubong Nehemiah has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Ubong started their career at GTBank as an Information Technology Support Assistant in September 2016. Ubong then worked at NTA- Nigerian Television Authority as an IT Support Specialist from March 2017 to September 2017.

In June 2017, they joined Gamejunkie, where they held multiple roles simultaneously. Ubong worked as a Technical Support Specialist and a Wordpress Developer until December 2018. Then, from January 2021 onwards, they became a Ruby on Rails Engineer at the same company.

In 2019, they worked as a Project Management Intern at eHealth4everyone from January to September. Later in 2021, they joined Trilogy as a Software Engineer II from August to October. Ubong also worked as a Cloud Operations Engineer from November 2021 to January 2022 at the same company.

Currently, Ubong Nehemiah is employed at Tyk as a Support Engineer, starting from April 2022.

Ubong Nehemiah completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Ilorin, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. These certifications include React + Redux from Sololearn in August 2022, RU101 from Redis in May 2022, Deploy Rails Applications from OpenClassrooms in April 2021, Build Dynamic Websites With Rails from OpenClassrooms in December 2020, and Build Your Web Projects With REST APIs from OpenClassrooms in December 2020.

Ubong has also completed other certifications such as Take Your First Steps With Ruby, Build quick and beautiful WordPress sites, Design the Logical Model of Your Relational Database, Implement a Relational Database with SQL, Build Web Apps with ReactJS, Write JavaScript for the Web, Build Your First Web Pages With HTML and CSS, Create Web Page Layouts With CSS, Learn Programming With JavaScript, and SQL Fundamentals Course, all from OpenClassrooms between October 2019 and March 2020.

Further, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Dexter and Heroes Consulting in July 2019 and achieved Graduate Member status from The Nigerian Society of Engineers in December 2018. In September 2018, they completed the Java Tutorial Course from SoloLearn, while in May 2017, they obtained the Python Core certification from SoloLearn. Additionally, Ubong Nehemiah has participated in the Google Africa Scholarship - Android Developer Course offered by Andela, although the specific dates of completion are not provided.
