Sedky Aboushamalah

Sedky Aboushamalah has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Sedky started their career as a Full Stack Developer at 3M, where they contributed to the development of the company's v2 B2B eCommerce platform. Sedky built REST Ordering APIs and worked on order history pages and order details using Java, jQuery, Bootstrap, Oracle SQL, and SAP.

After that, Sedky worked as a Full Stack Developer at CDK Global and as a Senior Full Stack Developer at Canada Life. In these roles, they continued to develop software solutions using various technologies.

In 2019, Sedky joined Fanshawe College as a Computer Programming Lecturer, educating students on computer programming.

In the same year, they also took on the position of Fractional CTO at Ajtima, where they were responsible for scoping, requirements gathering, designing, bootstrapping, and leading deliveries of flagship products. Sedky specialized in designing solutions for developers.

Currently, Sedky serves as the Director of Solutions Architecture at Tyk. Their responsibilities include helping companies achieve their API goals and strategies, leading presales and postsales solutions engineering teams, and ensuring excellent customer experiences.
