Tim Evans

Tim Evans has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Their most recent position was as a Product Manager - Embedded Finance at Tyl by NatWest, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they worked at NatWest as a Product Manager - Rapid Cash from 2019 to 2023.

In 2019, Tim was the Head of Product Management at iwoca before joining eBay the same year as Product Management, Monetization. Tim worked at eBay until 2018.

From 2014 to 2017, Tim served as the Head of Product Management at Tesco PLC. During their time at Tesco, they created and owned the Product Roadmap for all Ads capabilities across the company. Tim also defined strategies and delivered technology to support the retail business both offline and online.

Before their role at Tesco, Tim was a Consultant Senior Product Manager at GroupM EMEA (WPP) from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, they were the Head of Product Management at VisualDNA from 2010 to 2012.

Tim's career started at Google in 2007, where they joined as the EMEA AdSense Product Manager and eventually took on global product management responsibility. Before Google, they served as a Product Development Manager at Multimap.com (Microsoft/Bing Maps) from 2001 to 2007.

Additionally, Tim worked at Psion Computers PLC as a Senior Software Engineer from 1998 to 2000. Tim was involved in designing and implementing features for various Psion products, including the Revo and Series 5mx.

Tim Evans completed their Master of Science (MSc) Modules in Telecommunications for Industry from UCL from 1998 to 1999. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science / Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham, where they enrolled from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their academic degrees, Tim Evans holds certifications as a Certificated member of the Chartered Banker Institute (CCBI) from The Chartered Banker Institute, which they received in January 2021. Tim also holds a PRINCE2 certification from the ILX Group, acquired in February 2010.
