Rachel Chatting

Rachel Chatting is an experienced ecologist with a strong background in ornithology. Currently serving as an Associate Ecologist at Tyler Grange since August 2022, Rachel previously held the position of Environmental Scientist at GHD Environment Ltd from October 2015 to April 2021 and was a Senior Ecologist at The Ecology Consultancy between August 2012 and October 2015. Rachel's expertise includes managing and conducting surveys for various bird species, including breeding and wintering birds, as well as red kites, barn owls, and kingfishers. Additional experience includes project management of ornithology surveys for an onshore wind farm with Thomson Ecology Ltd, and roles as a Research Assistant and Project Scientist at various conservation projects focused on marine ecosystems. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Wildlife Management and Conservation from the University of Reading and a Bachelor of Science in Zoology/Animal Biology from Royal Holloway, University of London.
